How to get there
The SQUARE is a world-class conference venue located in the heart of Brussels, just a short walk from the Central Station. Brussels Airport is just 17 minutes away by direct train to Central Station, with up to six trains per hour during peak times. From there, it’s only a three-minute walk to SQUARE.
The congress venue is easily accessible via a well-connected public transport network.
RAIL AND TRAIN
The SQUARE is just a few minutes’ walk from Brussels Central Station, which is served by Belgium’s national railway company, SNCB/NMBS. From here, you can easily reach all major cities and towns across Belgium and beyond.

metro and TRAM
Brussels Metro and tram networks provide convenient connections to The Square Brussels. The nearest metro stations are Brussels-North (Lines 3 and 4), Rogier (Lines 2 and 6), and De Brouckère (Lines 1 and 5), all within a 5-10 minute walk.

BUS
Brussels has a comprehensive and frequent bus service operated by STIB/MIVB that connects the city center with suburban areas and surrounding regions. The bus stops around The Square Brussels are well served by multiple lines, ensuring easy access from various parts of the city. Tickets and passes can be purchased via vending machines, mobile apps, or onboard.

Registration Desk
The Organizing Secretariat Desk will be open for registration and information according to the following time schedule:
- Saturday, 30th May – 7.30-18.00
- Sunday, 31st May – 7.30-18.00
- Monday, 1st June – 7.30-18.00
- Tuesday, 2nd June – 7.30-14.00
Please collect your badge at the self printing area and wear your personal name badge during the scientific sessions and social activities.
Badges
Participants are kindly requested to wear the name badge when entering the congress venue and to access any offered services, dinners included. Access to the Congress Centre shall not be possible without a name badge.
Badge reprinting will incur a fee of €100, which will be refunded upon return of the original badg
Certificate of Attendance
The certificate of attendance will be mailed to the participants within one week from the end of the congress.
Cloakroom and Luggage Deposit
A cloakroom and luggage deposit will be available during the official Congress time schedule. The Congress Centre and the organisers are not responsible for any items lost or left behind.
Video and photo disclaimer
Please, note that during the 17th EGS Congress photos and videos will be taken.
Images could be uploaded on the event’s websites or EGS’s and/or OIC’s communication channels in order to prove and show the success of the meeting in terms of participation, until the next edition.
